ACTING

Alongside her solo comedy show Charlie Vero-Martin: Picnic at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, she performed in a full run of Super by Matthew Radway at the Pleasance Courtyard. This new piece of writing is a two-hander that was nominated for the BBC Popcorn Award and the Brighton Fringe Excellence Award.

Based on true stories, this dark, authentic comedy followed a couple who played Batman and Cat Woman on Hollywood Boulevard but have since broken up. Through their alternating monologues you learn both sides of the story in this tale of love, failure and friendship.

Charlie has been a member of the National Youth Theatre since 2006 and has studied with Gaulier, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and RADA.
