Charlie started performing at age 3 as a dancer and even took part in productions with the Latvian Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
In 2006 she joined the National Youth Theatre. Despite her interest in acting, Charlie chose to pursue an MA in Italian and Modern History at the University of St Andrews, which included a year in Venice studying the role of improvisation in Commedia dell'Arte.
During her time at university she was heavily involved in comedy and theatre. Since graduating she has taken courses with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, RADA and the Soho Theatre.
In August 2022 she will be expanding her training in clowning by studing at Ecole Gaulier in Etampes.
