COMEDY WRITING

Charlie has written sketches and jokes for BBC Radio 4, BBC Scotland and Hat Trick Productions.

​

This year she was a finalist in Leicester Square Theatre's Sketch Off.

In 2021 her TV sitcom pilot was shortlisted by the UKTV-Triforce Writerslam and the Funny Women Comedy Writing Awards and her children's animation series was longlisted by BBC Ignite.

She was also Tour Manager for Griff Rhys Jones during his UK Tour of "Where Was I?"

​

Charlie studied Writing and Producing Comedy at the NFTS sponsored by Channel 4 under the mentorship of Bill Dare (Deadringers) and Caroline Norris (Horrible Histories). 

​

She has written four solo comedy shows that I've taken to the Edinburgh Fringe: Dante's History of the Banished (2017); The 24/7 Club (2018); Scrapbook (2019) and Picnic​ (2023).
